To my Knit 1 friends
For two years, I had the great fortune to put my whole heart into my dream job. When I joined Knit 1 full time in 2019, I imagined my time there as finite and lasting just a few months. As the pandemic developed, I began to see the possibilities of fostering a community all around the country and was pleased to see so many of were you looking for the kind of place we were building. I am proud of what we were able to accomplish as a store. It meant a lot to me, after years of searching, to finally find an LYS that felt like home.
While I know the news about changes at Knit 1 have come as a surprise to most of you - myself included - I hope you'll continue to value what we’ve built together and keep in touch with me as I work on what's next. I wish nothing but the best for my former coworkers and hope to collaborate with many of them in the new year. Allyson has shared her perspective here and I fully recommend you check it out!
Finally, I'd like to give special thanks to all of the customers, supporters, students, and friends I've met since 2019. Your support and laughter in the darkest times of a pandemic meant more to me than you'll ever know. I'm proud to have been in your life and can't wait to keep sharing our love of making in the years to come.

If you’re realizing start up costs combined with no job at the holiday season is truly the pits and are feeling generous, here’s some ways you can invest in me. You can trust that I’ll put it to good use for you very soon.
